April 7, 2020 Flipboard Reddit Pinterest WhatsApp E-mail The CovidIA voluntary initiative proposes to invent a deconfinement model that combines Artificial Intelligence, medical and geolocation data with virological and/or serological tests… Initiated by Professor Alexandre Mignon, anesthesiologist-resuscitator at the Cochin Hospital in Paris, CovidIA is an entirely voluntary initiative which brings together two types of actors: experts in the medical field on the one hand and on the other hand a team with know-how in data processing and AI made up of the best specialists. CovidIA wants to meet the challenge of deconfinement by exploiting three types of data: demographic data , data relating to sick people or carrier or suspected patients and location data that may be provided – in an Buy Bulk SMS Service aggregated and anonymous manner – by mobile operators. Location data would, for example, make it possible to know where people were the week before confinement and what possible contacts they may have had with subjects potentially vectors of the virus. Thanks to this data, CovidIA could feed and train machine learning algorithms which, iteration after iteration, would manage to create stable and efficient models. These models would explain two things: how the pandemic spread how it will evolve according to the deconfinement plans.
